Location: London|Hybrid
Salary: £75K - £85K
Data Idols are working with a leading organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in its data and technology capabilities. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data function and help build the platforms and solutions behind high-impact Data Science and analytics products.
This is an opportunity to work in a modern data environment, solving complex engineering challenges and building solutions that will be used at significant scale.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing the data foundations that enable Data Science teams to build, test and deliver sophisticated data products.
You’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle, building scalable pipelines, developing complex orchestration workflows and creating reliable, production-ready solutions using technologies including Databricks and Airflow.
You’ll have plenty of ownership and the opportunity to influence how solutions are designed and delivered, while working closely with Data Scientists and other engineering and product teams.
Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial Data Engineering experience
- Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines
- Strong experience with Airflow
- Experience working with Databricks
- Experience working closely with Data Science or advanced analytics teams
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems and drive solutions through to delivery
